Our aim

To provide professional, person centred support for individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and brain injuries, enabling them to live independently and get as much out of life as they can whilst giving their families complete peace of mind.

We can't promise to fly you to the moon, but we'll do our best to make you feel you've been there.

At Affinity, we don't laugh at anybody's hopes and dreams, no matter how wild they might seem. We offer support to make them happen.

So when one of our service users said he wanted to go to the moon, we supported him. After gathering information, he was ready to make up his own mind. Deciding it wasn’t possible to achieve his ambition, he took a different route.

Still determined to continue with his

interest in space, we supported him to visit the space hall at Manchester Museum of Science and Industry. He may not be able to go to the moon, but he was certainly over the moon.

We’re happy to have supported him to make his own informed choice.
